Animax

In 2000, my friend Dan Greaney — a writer on The Simpsons — called and asked if I wanted to start an animation company. I didn't know much about it, but that never stopped me before. Animax stayed in business for sixteen years.

We made animation for advertising and a few series of our own: Slacker Cats for ABC, Popzilla for MTV, and The Animated Adventures of Bob and Doug for Global. At its peak, Animax had over 100 people in a 14,000-square-foot studio in Van Nuys, California.
